From my « Missae Breves n°3″, I imagined a continuation. You will find the 5 movements of the « Missae » of J.S. Bach, always, of course, because those compositions were the starting point of the series, but if the graphics are unchanged for their essential lines, the manner to organize them is completely new: My state of mind for this new series is different…
What is different in fact?
My personal life is different: living alone is the most important fact of those last months. The best one to tell the truth. I am much more implicated in art since this deep decision: my painting reveals this essential mutation since January 2010. The second boosting evolution is the decision to change the location of my workshop from « Leucate » to « Nice, French Riviera » in August 2010.
What else? Nothing else than of the work, a lot of work… Each day, each night… Drawings, paintings, engravings… Invention of new fluids for preparing the boards, the canvas, for the dilution of the oil paintings…
Does the new « Missae Breves » match with this new life?
Of course: yes. It matches with the new secret themes hidden behind the 5 movements of Bachs’ compositions…
The new secret themes I work on, are in accordance with the new people I meet. Perhaps because the new people that I meet can see the new man that I am?
It is not a question of philosophy of life only. It seems that we could be born several times in our lives? Could not we? …..
ps: I worked this afternoon: I needed to search for the background graphics again… Something told me that my composition was not accomplished.
I got my pencil and a piece of paper. The theme appearing, after a while, was about the flowers. I remembered my series of « metal flowers » 2 years ago…
The new and the final sketch for this composition, drawn this afternoon is the one with « Amaranthus Caudatus ». The 2 last photos are those showing the painting done after this new drawing.

Now, the sketches and the beginning of the new painting « Missae Breves n°3 bis ». I think that this painting will be finished this week.
