After a trip to Paris, for work, I came back to Nice last night, (very late). I forgot that my third « Akhal » was almost finished! What a good surprise… I suppose that I am a little bit tired, don’t I?
Such a significant painting that I consider it as a « zero point », as a new starting point in my creations. See my previous article for another explanation of the « zero point ».
Significant among all the symbols we share both.
Significant by the manner I chose to paint it: natural aspect for the subject, and abstract symbolisation of the territory, or of the universe where it lives. This last point is, probably, the most important one, regarding what happens at this very moment in Israël and Palestine…
Before going to Paris, I decided to change my « Akhal n°2″: the reality is that it does not match with the mental images that I developped at the time I started to paint it. The result is not rather powerful for me. Thus I rolled the large canvas and put it in a corner. Please forget it, (forever).
Of course, I will start a new « Akhal for Hebrew, n°2″ in a few days, I must replace this bad version.
