2-Persian poetry

I was 19 years old, when I began to paint into the churches. I studied by this way the classical compositions, the materials, and all the things which are important to preserve the paintings for a long time in those closed and wet environments…And of course I studied the Saint Bible. My chance, at those times, was to meet some priests who knew the 3 Revealed Religions, Judaism, Christianism and Islam.
Thus, I decided to paint the 3 sides of the same essential devotion. I studied those 3 Books in order to find this « essential devotion »…I have worked a lot towards the Saint Bible…
Then, I bought a very good translation of the Koran in 1995. I also started to learn the Classic Arab language, in the same year…
In 2008, I found in the Persian poetry of Nezâmî a lot of themes which were illustrated by Islamic Art Schools… I could isolate in those illustrated books some Surates from the Koran. I decided to paint my own series of Persian poetry in the same state of mind.
22 large panels were envisaged for an exhibition illustrating the Persian poetry through the Koran…
For Judaism and the Talmud of Babylone, which I consider the first top of the pyramid, more studies are necessary to paint it as well as I want to do…
